Masanari Koike, Fellow

Masanari Koike is a Fellow at the Global Policy Initiative. He is also a Visiting Lecturer both at Nihon University and Tsinghua University, and a Ph.D. candidate at the University of Tokyo. His research interests include the international security and economy, currently focusing on energy security issues. He holds an M.A. in International Relations from the School of Advanced International Studies at Johns Hopkins University and a B.A. in Economics from Sophia University. He has professional experiences at a Japanese trading company and at an office of a member of Councilors, Japan. He is a coauthor of The Future of Japan and Asia that FTAs Create (in Japanese, Open Knowledge, 2006).
